Bubenyak service is set

CAMANCHE -- Carol Bubenyak, 65, of Camanche, died Saturday at her home.

A private family memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Herold officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born March 17, 1938, in Clinton to Emil and Norma Hebdon Greve. She married Thomas Bubenyak on Jan. 5, 1957, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clinton.

She graduated from Miles High School.

She was employed with Petersen-Hagge Funiture for 12 years as a book-keeper. She also was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Michael (Denise) Bubenyak of Stockton, Calif., Greg (Robyn) Bubenyak of wilton, Patrick (Sylvia) Bubenyak of San Marcos, Calif., and David Bubenyak of Camanche; three daughters, Mrs. Kimberly (David) Allen of Ottawa, Ill., Christine Bubenyak of McPherson, Kan., and Mary Bubenyak of San Francisco, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; her mother, Norma Greve of Bettendorf; a brother, Tom (Willow) Greve of Bettendorf; a sister, Mrs. Dixie (Larry) Wallace of Bettendorf; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
