CORDOVA, Ill. — Dolores M. Wilson, 85, of Moline, formerly of Cordova, died Monday, April 14, 2008, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Gibson Funeral Home, Port Byron. Burial will be in the Cordova Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Albany United Methodist Church where she was a member.The former Dolores Marie Dreessen was born May 12, 1922, in Rock Island, the daughter of Henry and Mamie Sindelar Dreessen. She married Lewis Wilson on March 9, 1946, in Rock Island. He died on May 24, 2000. She and her husband owned the J and L True Value Store in Albany, and she also assisted her husband in farming.Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Mark Smith, Kansas City, MO, Bette and Randy Kindelsperger, Eldridge, IA, and Nancy and Bryan Holbert, Woodridge, IL; six grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Dreessen, Rock Island; a sister-in-law, Marcella Reddig, Moline; and a brother-in-law, Robert Wilson, Plattsburgh, NY.Death date: April 14, 2008
