SABULA — Mary Lynn Meyers, age 57, of Clinton, Iowa, formerly of Sabula, Iowa, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008, at her home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at St. Peters Catholic Church, Sabula, Iowa. Burial will take place in St. Peters Cemetery, Sabula. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at St. Peters Catholic Church, Sabula. Memorials may be given in Mary’s name. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.lawjonesfuneralhome.com. Mary was born on July 25, 1950, to Gerald and Geraldine (Sieverding) Meyers in Bellevue, Iowa. She graduated from Sabula High School class of 1968. Mary received her bachelors degree from Mary Crest College in 1976. Mary worked for the United States Government as an illustrator and graphic artist. Mary was an artist and loved music. She taught guitar lessons for many years. She enjoyed reading and cross-stitch. Mary was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Clinton and the Clinton Art Association. Mary will be dearly missed by her brother, David (Ruth) Meyers of Clinton, Iowa; a sister, Judy (Jim) Bowling of Sabula, Iowa; eleven nieces and nephews; and close friends; Kathy Witt of San Francisco, California, Sandy Tegeler of Clinton, Iowa, and Sharon Mooney of Clinton, Iowa. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Meyers.Death date: Feb. 24, 2008
