ERIE, Ill. — Dawn E. Myres, 58, of Erie, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Albany, where she was a member. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. at the Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. A memorial fund has been established.The former Dawn Elaine Sells was born July 1, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Dorothy Barker Sells. She married John Myres on January 16, 1997, in Cleveland, IL. She had been employed by Skyline, Clinton, as a home health aide. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family and taking care of her farm.Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Alan Fields, Milan; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Kim Fields, Milan, Richard and Kelly Fields, Milan; a stepdaughter, Amy Myres, Coal Valley; grandchildren, Christopher, Corey, Tommy, Amanda, Heather Ashley, Devin, Christien, B.J. and Blaze; great-grandchildren, Mersades and Eric; and a brother, Harry Scarff, Moline. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.Death date: Feb. 20, 2008
