ANKENY — Patricia K. Carr, 53, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, February 18, 2008 at Ankeny Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday Ankeny United Church of Christ (602 SE Delaware Ave). Patty was born June 26, 1954 to Kenneth and Mary Bimm in Savanna, Illinois where she spent most of her life. In 2001 she moved to Loveland, Colorado where she lived for five years and recently moved to Ankeny to be closer to her family. She was a Reading Teacher at Beaver Creek Elementary in Johnston, Iowa. She was a kind and caring person who had a special love for her family who meant everything to her and a love for her dogs. Survivors include her husband Bob Carr, son; Aaron (Jackie) Kreuder and their children Kiersten, and Kelsey of Bondurant, Iowa; daughter; Amanda Kreuder (Rodney) of Ankeny, Iowa; son; Josh Kreuder (Jennifer) of Savanna, Illinois; step children, Ben Carr of Rapid City, South Dakota; Beth (Craig) McCoy son Owen of California City, California; Sean Carr of Laramie, Wyoming; mother, Mary Bimm of Savanna, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her dad, a brother and her aunt Pat.Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League at 5452 N.E. 22 St. Des Moines, Iowa, 50313.Death date: Feb. 14, 2008
