The Clinton Herald Thursday September 8, 1964 p. 5 Arnold E. Rockrohr, 66, of Colfax, Wis., formerly of Clinton, died suddenly Monday while participating in a trailer rally at Thorntown, Ind. Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eau Claire, Wis. in the Golden funeral home. Burial also will be there. Mr. Rockrohr was born Feb. 17, 1896 in Clinton, the son of Otto and Caroline Mandelkow Rockrohr. Reared and educated in Clinton, he was a graduate of Lyons high school. A veteran of World War I, he left Clinton in the early 1920's. He is survived by his wife, Neta; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Richards of Newport Beach, Calif.; one son, Donald of Clinton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Newton of Eau Claire; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Merlin (Delores) Reichwein of Clinton and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
