The Clinton Advertiser Saturday December 11, 1926 p. 6 John Claussen passed away Friday afternoon at 3:30 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Catherine Neumann, 712 Bluff avenue. He was born in Schleswig, Germany April 10, 1855. His wife preceded him in death several years ago. Left to mourn are his daughter, Mrs. Neumann, one brother, Arnold Claussen of Clinton, and one sister, Mrs. Dallas Kramer of Sterling. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Mrs. Neumann’s home. Burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.
