In Loving Memory Richard Eldon Stouvenel 10/29/1920-08/15/2007Our father, Richard Eldon Stouvenel, passed away recently due to lung cancer and congestive heart failure at the age of 86. He was born in Savanna, Illinois. After serving in the Army for three years, he married our mother, Mary Jane, who passed away on January 29, 1991. They resided in Clinton for 20 years, and the family attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church during the early 1960s. Richard worked for Dupont and Alcoa. Additionally, he ran for public office (county treasurer).He was preceded in death by our mother, Mary Jane, and our sister, Elizabeth.Richard is survived by two daughters, Collene Burgess and Collette Stouvenel-Deltoro of Hesperia, CA; three sons, Michael Stouvenel of Priest River, Idaho, Tim Stouvenel of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Richard Stouvenel of Castaic, CA; one brother, Bill Stouvenel; two sisters, Geniveve Schiltz and Dorothy Mueller; his third wife from Sun City, CA; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.Richard’s final resting place is with his beloved first wife, our mother, Mary Jane and his daughter, Elizabeth, at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.We, your children, will hold you in our hearts until the day we are all united.
