BEDFORD, Texas — David Darryl Blinkinsop, age 53, of Bedford, TX, formerly of Clinton, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. According to family wishes, there will be no visitation or services; cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials may be given to the family. David was born on July 13, 1954, in Clinton, IA, the son of Darryl J. and Dolores (Leslie) Blinkinsop. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1972. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. David had worked as an electrician and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and visiting with his special friends, George, Jackie, and Randy. David is survived by his very special friend, Joan Abair, of Bedford, TX; parents, Darryl J. and Dolores Blinkinsop, of Camanche; a son, Trent Blinkinsop of Hereford, AZ; a daughter, Amanda (Jose) Chavez of Hereford, AZ; two grandchildren, Juanito and Anita; a stepdaughter, Amanda; a stepson, Dennis; two stepgrandchildren, Joey and Katelyn; mother-in-law, Katherine Abair of Hereford, AZ; three sisters, Katheryn Woods of Luray, SC, Susan Knepper of Peoria, IL, and Jeni Tarman of Spotsylvania, VA; and several aunts, uncles and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and wife, Anita Guilliams. Death date: Jan. 29, 2008
