The Clinton Herald Wednesday August 6, 1924 p. 6 Bruce Hufman, a life long resident of Clinton, passed away at 8:15 o'clock last night at Jane Lamb hospital, after an illness of short duration and after having been confined to the hospital but one day. Funeral services will be held at the Delaney chapel but the date will be announced later. Friends wishing to view the body may do so at the chapel. Bruce Hufman was born in Clinton on September 19, 1867, and had spent all of his life in Clinton with the exception of a short time when he worked in Chicago. He was educated in the Clinton schools and after finishing school entered the employ of the Northwestern railway as a machinist. He was a member of the Brotherhood of all Railway Employees and the International Association of Machinists. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died four years ago last February. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Hufman, of Chicago, and Frank Hufman of Bremerton, Wash., and one sister, Mrs. Kittie McMahon, of Chicago.
