The Clinton Herald Thursday December 26, 1968 p. 14 Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Meader, 77, of 2610 Grant St., who died Tuesday in Mercy hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today in St. John's Lutheran chruch. Rev. Paul Burgdorl officiated. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. Johanna Luckritz was born Nov. 26. 1891 in Clinton, the daughter of the late Gustav and Bertha Woelke Luckritz. She married John Meader, June 22, 1916, in Clinton. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and its sewing circle. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. William (Agnita) Dettermann and Mrs. Edward (Maxine) Hayes, both of Clinton, Mrs. Robert (Ella) Payson and Mrs. Edward (Roline) Bruhn, both of Camanche; two sons, Merten of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Merle of Masonville, N.J.; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Luke Clarkson of Milledgeville, Ill., two sisters, Alfrieda Copp of Minneapolis and Mrs. John Arno of Oak Park, Ill.; and six brothers, Walter, Henry, August, Alfred, Vernon and Arthur Luckritz, all of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one brother.
