CLINTON — Vernon D. Olmstead, 55, of Clinton, died Friday, January 18, 2008, at his home. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Vernon is survived by three sons, Jason (Tracey) Olmstead of Chandler, Arizona, Joseph Olmstead of Clinton, Justin Olmstead of Clinton; two daughters, Jamie (Jared) Wolfe of Clinton, and Jessica Olmstead of Camanche; two grandchildren, Brendan Wolfe and Maci Olmstead; and his mother, Betty Simms. Vernon was preceded in death by his father.Death date: Jan. 18, 2008
