The Clinton Herald Tuesday September 17, 1957 p. 11 Camanche - Harry G. Billmire, 76, former wholesale druggist in Clinton, died last evening in Jane Lamb hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Friends may call in the Bragonier - Fay chapel, Clinton, starting Wednesday evening, and funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Rev. Canon F.G. Williams of Grace Episcopal church wll officiate. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Mr. Billmire was born Oct. 12, 1880, in Baltimore, Md., and was educated at Boone, Iowa, later coming to Clinton to be associated with Olney-McDaid Wholesale Druggists. Later he moved to Oak Park, Ill., where he was in the wholesale drug business for 43 years. Mr. Billmire retired nine years ago and retired to Camanche. He was married to Mary Howes in 1904. Mr. Billmire was a member of the Episcopal church. He leaves his widow, two sons, Arch of San Francisco, Calif., and William B. of Park Ridge, Ill., two granddaughters and one grandson. Preceding him were three brothers and three sisters.
