The Clinton Herald Saturday February 25, 1961 p. 10 Mrs. John Stoltenberg, 88, of 512 10th Ave. S., died in her home Friday evening after a lingering illness. The body is in the Snyder funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus cemetery. The St. Mary's parish rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Catherine G. Rosenberger was born May 7, 1872 in Clinton, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Ziegler Rosenberger. She was a lifelong resident of Clinton and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She received her education in St. Mary's schools. She married John Stoltenberg April 26, 1892 in Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Florence Matson; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. John Buken of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
