CLINTON — Alice Babcock, 90, of Clinton, passed away Saturday at her home. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes-Lyons Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.Alice was born on November 12, 1917, in Sabula, IA, to Chris and Erma Martinsen. She was a high school graduate. She married Paddy Babcock and they farmed together in rural Clinton.Alice is survived by her son, Chris Babcock of Clinton; and one grandson, Chad Babcock of Camanche.She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.Death date: Dec. 1, 2007
