Janice K. Edson was born on June 11, 1944 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Leonard and Dorothy (Harp) Edson. She was a dietician at Crestridge Nursing Home and Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa, retiring in 1989. She also had been the Baldwin City Clerk for several years, worked at the Baldwin-Monmouth Meal Site, and was a cook at Mt. St. Clare in Clinton, Iowa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa, St. Rita’s Circle, and the Associates of St. Francis & Affiliates of St. Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents and several cousins.

Janice K. Edson, 63, of Dubuque and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at Ennoble Manor Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
