The Clinton Herald Monday May 5, 1924 p. 6 Louis Lund, born September 22, 1885, passed away this morning at 4:30 o'clock at his home, 413 Hickory street. Five years ago he had the flu and two months ago became seriously ill, went to Fort Dodge for examination. His case was pronounced incurable and he returned to Clinton, April 28. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late home with burial in Springdale cemetery. Mr. Lund came to Clinton from Sabula in 1908 and in 1917 was married to Miss Mary Huebner. His wife and five children, Arthur, Edward, Frank, Louis and daughter Carin are left to mourn; also his father, two brothers and three sisters.
