The Clinton Herald Monday August 13, 1945 p. 8 Harry H. Huebner, S 1c, has been reported as missing in action since July 30 by the Navy department. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Huebner, 433 Seventh avenue North. Seaman Huebner has been in the navy for three years and was serving in the Pacific. He has two sisters, Mrs. Allen Judge, and Mrs. Mary Baker and two brothers, Alfred and Reynold. Huebner participated in the Okinawa and Iwo Jima Campaigns, as well as the earlier campaigns on the Gilbert islands, the Marshall islands, the Marianas, Saipan and Guam.
