The Clinton Herald Monday August 6, 1945 p. 8 Mrs. P.C. Soesbe, 45, of 2905 Pershing boulevard, died in her home at 7:50 last night. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. in St. Irenaeus church, with the Rev. Fr. E.F. Jackson in charge. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus cemetery. The Altar and Rosary society will meet in the Soesbe home Tuesday at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary. The body will be taken to the home tonight. Mrs. Soesbe was born Frances Siegel August 25, 1899, the daughter of Andrew and Barbara Siegel, in Dyersville, Ia. She married P.C. Soesbe April 20, 1921 in Dyersville. She was a member of St. Irenaeus church and the Altar and Rosary society. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Lt. James Soesbe missing in action in the European theater; Cpl. Robert Soesbe, serving in the Philippines, John and William of the home; a daughter, Mary Joe of the home; five sisters, Mrs. B.E. St. John, Waterloo; Mrs. Roy McVay, Worthington; Mrs. George Lattner, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. John Goette, Anamosa; and Mrs. L.J. Lillivridge, New Hampton; a brother, Andrew Siegel, Dyersville, and several nieces and nephews.
