Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. SERVICES: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jon W. Nienhuis, pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Marian E. Snyder, 84, of Morrison, died Thursday at Morrison Community Hospital.Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

She was born March 14, 1923, in Morrison to Louis and Susie Haan Renkes. She married Edward E. Snyder on Nov. 20, 1945, in Morrison. She was educated in rural Whiteside County grade schools. She graduated from Morrison High School.She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, the church’s Ladies Aid Society, Quilters and Phylthean Society. She also served as a 4-H leader.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cindy (David) Zeglis of Kankakee, Ill., and Sandra Buikema of Morrison; one son, Steven (Pamela) Snyder of Eden Prairie, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
