The Clinton Herald Thursday November 13, 1975 p. 14 Carl A. Anderson, 64, 1206 S. 9th St., died this morning in Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home with Victor Richard Pokora of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be George Garien, Charles L. Chase, William Sturtz, Thomas Burke, Marvin Brandt and William Edwards. Mr. Anderson was born Jan. 2, 1911, in Grand Mound, the son of Charles and Annie Sinksen Anderson. He married Mildren Turner, April 5, 1934, in Clinton. She died in 1939. He married Winifred Judd, April 23, 1941, in Clinton. He retired five years ago from Clinton Corn Processing Company after 28 years employment, and was a member of the company's 25-years club. Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Jackie) Winoski of Clinton; two sons, Peter Anderson of Junction City, Kan., and Carl A. Chase of Clitnon; one step-son, Kenneth Gibson of Kewanee, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, four step-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. John (Laura) Oldsen of rural DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his first wife, one brother and two sisters.
