Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hanover Law-Jones Funeral Home in Hanover, Ill.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

SAVANNA, Ill. — Stanley A. Young, 60, of Savanna, Ill., died Wednesday in Oklahoma.Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Hanover.

He was born May 27, 1947, in Savanna, to Alvin and Betty (Reifsteck) Young. He married Sara Abbott and later married Leah Ross on Nov. 26, 2000 in Washington Township.He attended Hanover schools through high school. He was in the Air Force for four years during the Vietnam Conflict.He operated the Mill City Tap for 25 years in Hanover. He was an over-the-road truck driver for Crete Trucking.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Andrew Young of Idaho; one daughter, Molly (Greg) Schwebach of Madison, Wis.; three sisters, Sandra Niles of Port Byron, Ill, Sally Doran of Moline, Ill., and Sharon (Wayne) Wilson of Baileyville, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Laura (Dr. Joe) Roscoe of Webster, N.Y.; two brother-in-laws, Melvin (Cathy) Birch of North Pole, Ark., and Daniel (Sue) Birch of Steamboat Springs, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
