The Clinton Herald Monday August 6, 1934 p. 5 Funeral services for Martin Morris, prominent business man of this city, who died Friday afternoon in Jane Lamb hospital, were held this morning in the family home, 733 Fifth avenue, South. A prayer was said at 8 o'clock by R.N. Howes, Sr., long time friend of Mr. Morris, after which the cortege left at 9 o'clock for Chicago. Burial was in Rosehill cemetery, the pallbearers being Jos. L. Golden, Jacob Fisher, Willis Olney, Harold Tingleff, Norman Tosh and Rodney Fitch. In the funeral party are members of the immediate family, Mrs. Morris and son, Mark Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Morris and daughter, Miss Louine, Mrs. Jack Pollock and son, Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. William Charlin, Mrs. and Mrs. Jack Forcheimer and Mrs. A. Schwartzmann of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Irvin Rice and Mrs. Newton Davis of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weiss of this city.
