The Clinton Advertiser Wednesday July 23, 1919 p. 6 The funeral of Mrs. Marie Roeh was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. John E. Wilke, Jr., at Andover at 3 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. Hugo Grimm, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church of this city, officiating, and burial was made in the Andover cemetery. Mrs. Roeh passed away at two o'clock Monday morning at the age of 72 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Bock, 214 Thirteenth avenue, this city, after an illness of four months due to a paralytic stroke. The deceased was born in Schleswig, Germany, January 13, 1847. She leaves to mourn her loss five children: Claus Roch of Teeds Grove, Iowa. Mrs. Anna Jess of Teeds Grove, Ia. Mrs. Peter Frahm of Wimbledon, S.D. Mrs. J.E. Wilke, Jr. of Andover, Ia. Mrs. Walter Bock of Clinton, Iowa.
