The Clinton Herald Tuesday January 6, 1920 p. 8 Death claimed Mrs. James Doran, 808 Exchange street, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock when she passed away at the J.W. Beez home, 113 South Sixth street. She was taken ill New Year's day with a severe cold and Saturday was removed to the Beez home. Her condition gradually grew serious. Death was cased by congestion of the lungs. Mary Maldoon was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Maldoon and was born in Hampshire township August 29, 1852. She was united in marriage with James Doran at St. Irenaeus church, November 22, 1880, by Rev. W. Dunn. Mrs. Doran was a woman of sterling traits kind and loving and her death comes as a severe shock to her husband who is the only immediate survivor. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Irenaeus church. The funeral will be held from the J.W. Beez home Wednesday morning, with services at 9 o'clock at St. Irenaeus church. Rev. James Comerford will read the funeral Mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
