The Lyons Mirror Saturday March 10, 1877 At Elk River, Iowa, March 3d, 1877, of congestion of the lungs, Mrs. Adaline P, wife of A.J. Bingham. The deceased was born in Vermont, March 10th, 1815, and was, therefore, sixty-two years old, less seven days. She came to Elk River with her husband and family in October, 1854, and resided there until her death, esteemed by all who knew her. In her death society has lost one of its ornaments, her children a kind mother, and her husband a devoted and beloved wife. Her remains were followed to the Teed's Grove Church on Monday, March 5th at 1 p.m., by a large concourse of relatives and friends, where a discourse was delivered by the Rev. Mr. Trimble, (Episcopal) of Clinton, after which her remains were interred in the Church cemetery by the side of her son Luther, who died in 1863.
