Adaline Putnam
The Lyons Mirror Saturday March 10, 1877 Elk River Affairs Our community was startled by the announcement of the death of Mrs. Bingham, which occurred on the 2d inst., after an illness of one week, of lung fever. Mrs. Bingham had long been a resident of Elk River, and her rather sudden death has created a deep feeling of sorrow among a large circle of relatives and friends. She was a lady highly esteemed by all who knew her, and especially had she endeared herself to the young people, with whom she was always a great favorite. The funeral services were conducted at the Teed's Grove church, on the 5th, where a large number of friends had assembled to pay their last sad tributes of respect.
