Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jon W. Nienhuis, pastor of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

MORRISON, Ill. — Phyllis R. Huizenga, 80, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, died Wednesday at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Ill.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

She was born June 7, 1926, in Morrison to Peter L. and Alice Logemeyer Temple. She married Marvin Huizenga on May 10, 1944, in Morrison. He died in 1994.

She was educated in Morrison grade and high schools.

She was employed in the Morrison High School cafeteria.

She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, and the church’s Philethea Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcia (Michael) Blean of Morrison and Nancy (Willard) Bielema of Rockton, Ill.; two sons, Loren Huizenga of Minooka, Ill., and Allan (June) Huizenga of Stoughton, Wis.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jean Valk of Morrison; and one brother, Warren (Loretta) Temple of Morrison.

Memorials may be made to Resthave Nursing Home.
