Miss Helen L. NOBLE of Rutland, Vt., died Sunday afternoon at the home of her aunt, Mrs. J. H. BARNUM, on the Second avenue road, just west of the city. The cause of the death of the young lady was lagrippe, with complications of heart diseases, death following a short illness.

The deceased came from the east a few weeks ago, to visit relatives in Milwaukee, and to spend some time with her aunt in this city. She was 17 years and nine months of age.

The remains are to be taken to the home of the deceased in the Green Mountain state. Short services were held this afternoon at the BARNUM home, conducted by Rev. E. B. DEAN, pastor of the Congregational church, and the remains will start for Rutland Tuesday morning, in charge of Mrs. C. H. MCINTYRE, formerly Miss Bessie NOBLE of Clinton, a sister of the deceased.
