Miss Anna WELCH Passed Away At Her Home on Fourteenth Avenue Thursday.

The many friends of Miss Anna WELCH were grieved to learn of her death yesterday morning.

Miss WELCH passed away at her home Thursday evening after a very sudden stroke of heart trouble. During the early part of the evening she went over to the neighbors and discussed the death of Tom MCGLOON when she was suddenly taken ill and was assisted to her home where she passed away a short time afterwards.

Miss Annie WELCH was born in Troy, N. Y., in 1864, but lived in Clinton for the past twenty years, she and her sister Kate residing in the south part of town. There is also another sister in Clinton, Mrs. James BERRY, and a sister who lives in Belle Plaine.

The funeral services of Miss Anna WELCH will be held from St. Mary's church this afternoon at 2:30 p. m.
