Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Mount Carroll.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Mark Harkness officiating. Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll, is in charge of arrangements.

MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Warren L. Haas, 85, of Mount Carroll, died Friday at his home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1920, to Elmer and Carrie Albrecht Haas in Massbach, Ill. On Feb. 6, 1955, he married Annabell Kunde in Maquoketa.

He attended country school and graduated from Stockton High School in 1939.

The couple made their home in Massbach, where he farmed; following retirement, they moved to Mount Carroll.

He was awarded the 1978 Conservation Farmer Of The Year. He had a private pilot license.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Kay (Robert) Dauphin of Savanna, Ill., Linda England of Naperville, Ill., and Debra (Todd) Freeland of Poplar Grove, Ill.; a brother, Floyd (Evelyn) Haas of Morrison, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established.
