A Sudden Death.

Sunday evening at her home on Washington avenue occurred the death of Mrs. P. C. DONAHUE. She had been sick hardly one hour, when death came.

Mrs. Bridget DONAHUE was born in Ireland 47 years ago and came to this country with her mother, living in New York state for about six months and then coming to Clinton.

Beside her husband she is survived by ten children and two sisters. The children are John, William, Daniel and Vincent, Misses Anna, Agnes, Alice and Gertrude, all of whom make their home in this city; Mrs. Catherine Pilers of Tama, and Mrs. Mary Smith of Bay City, Mich.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Mary's church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's cemetery.
