ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Janice Kay Schneden Flanery, 58, of Ormond Beach, died April 26 at Ormond Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach.
She was born Sept. 9, 1947, in Clinton to LaVertis and Mildred Evers Schneden. She was raised in the Delmar area. She married David Flanery on June 5, 1965, in Delmar.
She graduated from Delwood High School.
She was an office manager.
She was an active member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 120, Holy Hill, Fla., and served as its president, second vice president and E-board committee. She was involved with many charitable functions for the auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; children, Angie (Richard) Ervin of Newton, Patrick (Jessica) Flanery of Burnsville, Minn., and Kelle (Craig) Brinson of Edgewater, Fla.; mother, Mildred Schneden of Delmar; six grandchildren; one brother, Richard “Dick” (Phyllis) Schneden of Delmar; and one sister, Mary Ellen Bennis of Maquoketa.
