Frank J. Lynch, 83, former Clinton retired contractor, died suddenly at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday in East Lynn, Ill.
Friends may call at the Delaney funeral home.
Members of St. Patrick's parish will meet at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home to recite the rosary.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, in the funeral home with Rev. John B. McEniry of St. Patrick's Catholic church officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Mary's cemetery.
He was born June 17, 1876 in New York state, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lynch.
He came to Clinton at an early age, and was reared and educated here. He was married to Josephine Walton, who preceeded him in death Nov. 1, 1945.
Survivers include two nieces, Mrs. Paul B. (Lucille) Holleran and Mrs. Vincent J. (Evelyn) Kearney, both of Clinton; two nephews, Edward J. Lynch of Syracuse, N.Y. and Raymond J. Lynch of Bethesda, Md., and several cousins.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sisters.
