Hans Weinbeck, 53, 2428 Roosevelt street, died about 1:20 a.m. today in Mercy hospital.
The body is in the Pape funeral home where friends may call beginning late this evening. Services will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. F.G. Williams officiating. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Weinbeck was born in Clinton Aug. 5, 1896, the son of John and Anna Weinbeck. He married Mary Heil April 14, 1921. She died in July of 1931. He then married Alberta Kofahl Nov. 21, 1933 in Clinton.
He was a clerk at Clinton Foods Inc., a veteran of World War I, a past commander of the Ex-Servicemen's association, and member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lyons lodge, 93, A.F. and A.M, the Odeon club and the 25-year club of Clinton Foods.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Elizabeth) Keim and Mrs. F.W. (Dorothea) Upchurch, Davenport; two sons, Louis and Robert at home; a brother, Charles, Clinton; a sister, Mrs. J.T. McGovern, Clinton, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his first wife, his parents, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
