Barbara J. Huizinga

PLANO, Texas — Barbara J. Huizinga, 59, Plano and formerly of Clinton, died Friday at her parent’s home in Clinton.

Burial will be in Restland Memorial Cemetery in Dallas. Pape Funeral Home assisted the family with the local arrangements.

She was born Oct. 1, 1946, in Clinton, to Gordon and Garnet Taylor Schroeder. She married Anthony Huizinga on Nov. 25, 1967, in Fulton, Ill.

She graduated from Clinton High School in 1965.

She worked as a clerk for JC Penney for more than 22 years.

She was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church North in Plano.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony; two sons, Todd (Mary) Huizinga and Dr. Timothy Huizinga both of Frisco, Texas; her parents, Gordon and Garnet Schroeder of Clinton; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Chery (Darrell) Gruntorad of Clinton; a brother, Robert (Laura) Schroeder of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Death Date: July 28, 2006.
