SERVICES: Private graveside services. Lahey Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, is in charge of arrangements.
MAQUOKETA — Harold T. O’Neill, 98, of Maquoketa and formerly of Charles City, died Saturday at Clover Ridge Place, Maquoketa.
Burial will be Thursday at Riverside Cemetery, Charles City. The body has been cremated.
He was born Sept. 26, 1907, in Humphrey, Neb., to Charles Jasper and Luella Fleur O’Neill. He married Elvira G. Woodward on Dec. 7, 1932, in Nashua. She died in 1952. He later married Jeanne Wolf on Dec. 25, 1958, in Evansdale. She died in 2002.
He farmed and worked in building maintenance with Dr. Salsbury’s Laboratory, Charles City.
Survivors include three sons, Charles (Phylliss) O’Neill of Nashua, Ray (Nora) O’Neill of Delmar and Dean (Patricia) O’Neill of Davenport; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
