Jens Feddersen, 72, died at 7:20 a.m. today in DeWitt Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. D.S.T. Saturday at the Runge funeral chapel at Davenport. Friends may call after 7 p.m. D.S.T. today. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jens Feddersen was born Nov. 23, 1890 in Germany. He came to the United States with his parents as a child. On Dec. 17, 1913 he married Emma Witt in Davenport. He had farmed in Scott and Clinton Counties, until his retirement about five years ago, when he moved to Eldridge.

Surviving are the widow; five sons, Arnold of Donahue, Harry and Robert of DeWitt, Ralph of Lost Nation and Alvin at home; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Kearney of Calamus; 11 grandchildren; one brother, John of DeWitt; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wolf of Davenport and Mrs. Frieda witt of Eldridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
