MISSION, Texas — Jeanette Donaldson Brooks, 81, of Mission, died Feb. 26 at Mission Regional Hospital.
Cremation took place on Feb. 27. No services will take place. Burial will be at a future date at Union Cemetery in Clinton, County.
Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. of McAllen, Texas, was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Sept. 1, 1924 in Mason City to Percival Donaldson and Refa Hunnicutt Donaldson. She married Emmett Le Roy Brooks on Nov. 14, 1954, in Clinton.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Clinton High School and for the United Methodist Church in Clinton.
She is survived by two daughters, Susannah Brooks of Austin, Texas, and Linda Ryner of Mission; three nephews; seven great nieces; and one great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.
Death Date: Feb. 26, 2006.
