Michael Doherty born in 1857 to William And Abby (Cotter) of Grand Mound, IA. He died in 1934 on the farm his parents aquired by squatter rights, in Grand Mound, Orange TWP, Clinton Co. IA. He was the beloved brother of William E., And Mary Ann Sterling.He was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Grand Mound, IA.
