Wednesday evening, May 13th, this section was visited by a terrific wind storm. It first struck the large barn of Wm. Rohling tearing it all to pieces, killing a number of hogs, chickens etc. It then took a northerly course demoralizing outbuildings and trees, moving Frazier’s Opera House about a foot and a half, and damaging the elevator belonging to the C. M. & St. Paul R. R. Co.
