ON A SERIOUS CHARGE.
A. B. Grace, a young man residing at Calamus, was arranged in Justice O'Connell's court Monday on a charge of placing an obstruction on the Chicago & Northwestern railway at Calamus in August, 1893. He waived examination and was held to the district court in bonds of $500 There is no positive evidence against the young man. It appears he had a grievance against the railway company, and it is alleged that he made threats to get even. Dectectives have been at work on the case for several months.
