The most shocking fatalities of the year were those of Mrs. Henry Paysen and her daughter Amelia. The little girl's dress caught the blaze from a bon-fire on Saturday last; an uncle, John Paysen, extinguished the fire, it was thought, but it broke out again while the mother wss carrying in the child, and the result was the terrible buring of Mrs. Paysen also. Death mercifully came to both Sunday morning.
