Mary Eberhart, Wesley Witt are Wed in Charlotte

Charlotte- Following their wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Witt, who exchanged vows at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Catholic Assumption Church, Charlotte, will live on the Chris Dohse farm near DeWitt.
The bride is the former Miss Mary Eberhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eberhart of Charlotte. Mr. Witt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Witt of DeWitt.
Mrs. Maurice Butt, twin-sister of the bride, was matron of honor.
Walter Eberhart, brother of the bride, served as best man.
The bride wore a ballerina length dress of pale green crystallette with a boot neckline and a hat. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
The bride's attendant wore a gown of lavender crystalette in ballerina length with boat neckline and full skirt. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.
The bride's mother wore a navy blue crepe dress with a white carnation corsage. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue with white print and a white corsage.
Ushers were Bob Eberhart, brother of the bride and Edward Witt, brother of the groom. Mrs. Gerald Clifford was the organist and Miss Patsy Reynolds was the soloist.
The Bride is a graduate of Charlotte High School class of 1955 and has been employed at the Schneckloth Cafe. The bridegroom has served 3 years in the armed forces and has been employed by the C. and S. trucking company.
Those who came from a distance were Mrs. Walter Boyce, Mrs. Frank Hofel, Mr. and Mrs. John Erving and family, all of Buena Vista.
