Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Witt of DeWitt announce the engagement of their daughter, Gladys Eleanor, to Norman J. Rohwedder, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rohwedder of Stockton, Iowa.
Miss Witt is a graduate of DeWitt High School in 1953, and is employed at Petersen-Harned-Von Maur's Store in Davenport. Mr. Rohwedder attended Scott County school and served 33 months in the armed forces. He is presently farming with his father.
The couple plans to marry in November.
1953
