Rusty and Michelle Shockley of Clinton are the parents of a son, Reed Ronald, born July 5 at Samaritan North, Clinton. He weighed 6 pounds, 8.7 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is the couples first child.
Grandparents are Leon Sr. and Milly Oberman of Clinton and Ronald and Sheralyn Shockley of Bloomfield.
Great-grandparents are Loretta Oberman of Clinton and Lynn and Florence Carrier of Fort Madison.
