Loren and Bonnie Johnson of Preston are the parents of a son, Christopher Jay, born May 5 at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa. He weighed 7 pounds, 6 1/4 ounces. He is welcomed by a sister, Peggy, 2 1/2.
Grandparents are Mary and Wesley Witt of Charlotte and Charlene and Leroy Johnson of Maquoketa.
Great-grandparents are Mildred Asmussen of Preston and Albert Eberhart of Charlotte.
