Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gottburgsen of Miles announce the engagement of their daughter, Jan Margaret to Chad Thomas Ketelsen. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ketelsen of Charlotte.
A September 25 wedding is being planned at 4 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston.
The bride-elect will graduate from Augustana College in May with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration.
Her fiance is a graduate of Northeast Iowa Community College in dairy herd management and is employed at Ketelsen Suncrest Farms, Inc. as herdsman.
All friends, relatives, neighbors and classmates are invited.
