Arline Parker of Clinton is celebrating her 80th birthday.
An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. April 12 in Trinity Methodist Church, 1605 13th Ave. North. Relatives and friends are invited. A card shower would be appreciated.
She was born April 12, 1917, in Clinton. She married Forrest Lee on December 15, 1935. He died in January of 1973. She later married Harold Parker in December of 1978. He died in December of 1983.
She is the mother of a daughter, Marjorie Hawk of West Burlington. She has three grand-daughters and nine great-grandchildren.
She had worked at McKinley and Hummelgaard in Clinton for more than 30 years, retiring when the store closed in 1982.
