The Clinton Herald Wednesday June 5, 1996 p. 6 E. Lucille Haring, 304 Thorwaldsen Place, will celebrate her 85th birthday with a family picnic on June 15. She was born May 29, 1911, near Prophetstown, Ill., to Glenn and Alma Chapin Graham. She married Ralph R. Haring, June 11, 1931, in Chicago, Ill. He died July 22, 1980. She is the mother of five children: Janice M. Haring of Coralville; James R. Haring of Clinton; Raymond G. Haring of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Ronald P. Haring of Camanche; and Mrs. Carol (David) Anderson of Prospect Heights, Ill. She has seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Brown's Business College in Sterling, Ill., and had been employed with several business offices.
